Participants will learn to “think outside the box” by developing a Pure Michigan Talent Connect resume that can be used to market themselves as a value-add to their employer. This will include the opportunity to use their PMTC account to Build a Resume, populate their Profile with skills employers seek, and use their PMTC resume to market themselves to advantage as a Business of One. Each participant will develop a resume they can use immediately as well as the opportunity to participate in “follow-up” sessions as they choose for improvement and enhancement. In this workshop, you will work one-on-one with the facilitator.

Here we will give you some tips on finding the perfect job and how to make the best impression in the process. Learn the best way to answer tough application questions that will help you get the interview, and maybe even the job.

This month long, Free of charge, Microsoft Introduction Series is conducted by Career Quest staff members. Instructors will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Introduction to Microsoft Excel will walk you through the basics of creating a spreadsheet using this popular program.
