Practice your interview skills. No matter how many interviews you'd had, every interview is different. What they all have in common is that the employer in a real interview will not give you feedback. This is your chance to receive honest and valuable feedback. Sign up for a mock interview. Bring a sample job description (or you can just have a general interview). At the end, you'll receive feedback on what went well and where you can improve. Dress to impress if you would like comments on your interview clothes as well. Call 517-492-5536 to schedule your mock interview appointment.

Participants will learn to “think outside the box” by developing a Pure Michigan Talent Connect resume that can be used to market themselves as a value-add to their employer. This will include the opportunity to use their PMTC account to Build a Resume, populate their Profile with skills employers seek, and use their PMTC resume to market themselves to advantage as a Business of One. Each participant will develop a resume they can use immediately as well as the opportunity to participate in “follow-up” sessions as they choose for improvement and enhancement. In this workshop, you will work one-on-one with the facilitator.
